I am very excited about Halloween tonight. At first, I didn't know if I would dress up because I thought I might be too old, but then I figured I wanted candy so I decided to. I am dressing up as Harry Potter or Hermione Granger. I got the idea from last year my old teacher, Mrs. Schmitt, had me read one of the Harry Potter books for IDR. I really liked it so I decided to watch the movie too. I will probably read the other books in the series too because I have all the books. Anyways I liked the book a lot and my mom asked me what I wanted to be for Halloween so I said I would be a character from Harry  Potter. I already have my costume, we got it at Target a week or two ago. I have a robe and a scarf. The colors are Gryffindor and my favorite characters in there are Harry and Hermione so I will have to decide which one to be. I will be posting another writing prompt soon, but I was wondering if you guys want me to post stories that I write more often? Comment if you want me to post more stories and if so, what should they be about?

As you probably know the school dance is this Thursday. I don't know about you, but I am pretty excited about it. After school on Thursday, I have a science club which I am really excited about because we haven't had it in about a month. One of my friends is going to go with me because she is coming to my house before the dance, and we will get ready together. At five o'clock some of my other friends are coming over to get ready as well. We are going to eat pizza and probably just talk and laugh most of the time. The at around seven o'clock we are going to the dance! I am excited to play games, dance, ect. I know a lot of people are worried about the eighth graders at the dance. You shouldn't be, my sister is in eighth grade and I've met a lot of people in her grade and they are all very nice and kind. Just be excited to go have fun and hang out with your frineds.

I will have a post later today or tomorrow. Before I post it though I have to check with one of my teachers about the topic.

I was reading the comments on my recent post and Claire Truesdale gave me the idea to make a sequel to the writing prompt. So here's more to the story. That was the craziest dream I've ever had! I rolled over and tried to go to sleep but I couldn't. I just kept on thinking about the bus ride dream. Soon enough my alarm clock went off. I turned it off and went upstairs to eat breakfast. I made some waffles and then went to brush my teeth. "Goodbye, see you after school!" My mom said as I walked out the door heading for the bus. When I got there I sat down next to Karen and Vada like I usually do. The day was starting off just like my dream did and that was really weird. We started talking for a while and then, of course, we see the bus driver asleep. It felt like a slap in the face. I should have known that he would fall asleep!
