Homophone Story
Today my mom sent my sister and me to the store two blocks away to get some groceries. She told us once we get there we need to get her exactly what she wants us to. We listened to her instructions carefully and headed off to the store.
When my sister and I got to the store, I looked at her in the eye and said: "You get the first five groceries and I will get the last five." Then we both raced off to get my moms groceries. The first thing on my list was some pairs of pears. Quickly, I grabbed two pears and ran off to get the next item on my list.
When I finished getting all of the groceries, I then went to the front of the store to wait for my sister to finish. Luckily, she was already there and checked out.
After I checked out we hopped on our bikes and headed home.
On the way home, my sister said: "Look over there! It's a bunch of little kids trying to sell lemonade at their lemonade stand!" We decided to go buy a glass of lemonade for each of us. By the way, it was very delicious! We paid the kids with the extra money and then headed home.
Good story! I like all of the descriptive words that you used!
